The Airy-Disk 140mm f/6.5 APO is designed for astrophotographers and visual observers looking for the additional light-gathering power and resolution of a larger instrument. It is particularly well suited to permanent or semi-permanent setups and small home observatories.
The 140mm aperture provides strong performance for deep-sky observation, planetary work and close double stars. For astrophotography, the larger aperture and 910mm focal length make it well suited to high-resolution imaging.
The triplet objective uses Japanese Hoya FCD100 ED glass for excellent color correction, high contrast and sharp images.
