The apochromat has arrived in modern times, because the imaging of this telescope is nothing short of excellent. Thanks to the ED Triplet Apo lens with air gap, it relies on a particularly high-contrast and color-free image. At the center of your astrophoto machine is the FCD-100 glass from Hoya of Japan, which is known for its low color deviation. Thanks to technological innovation, Hoya has successfully optimized the mass production of FCD100. An optical glass with an extremely low dispersion, which even comes close to fluorite. By combining it with an optical glass with a high refractive index, it has been possible to achieve an unprecedented innovative chromatic aberration correction.
Large 2.5" focuser: Precise and stable
The improved 2.5 inch hybrid focuser makes observation and photography even more convenient and precise. This focuser is based on the Crayford principle, but with an additional guide rail in the form of a toothed rack with helical grooves. The combination of these techniques makes the focuser particularly precise and yet stable.
Easily connect whatever you want, from adapters to large eyepieces or heavy camera gear: it can carry gear weighing up to 10kg. Once the focus is set, it stays in place with every movement of the telescope.
360 degrees rotatable: With the rotatable and lockable focuser, alignment with the photo object is very easy.
M63 thread connection (internal): In addition to the classic 2-inch (with 1.25-inch reducing adapter) connection for eyepieces and cameras, this instrument also offers a 63mm thread so that you can easily and stably fix a flattener or reducer.
The handle with two uses
Simply clever: With the practical carrying handle, you always have your apo in your hand. Whether during transport or during assembly on the mount. In addition, the handle also serves as a mounting rail for accessories attached in parallel. So everything has its place: Use a guiding scope and guiding camera, for example.
